Flavius ​​Florea discusses the legislation for festivals management at the East European Music Conference

Between July 27th – 29th, East European Music Conference is taking place in Sibiu, during the Sibiu Festival City. Launched this year, Sibiu Festival City offers to music and art lovers the opportunity to enjoy a busy cultural programme including exhibitions, concerts, workshops and conferences.

East European Music Conference brings together the major players of the music industry, ranging from concert and festival promoters, to international experts, authorities and future practitioners. On this occasion, Flavius ​​Florea, lawyer in the TMT (tech, media, telecom) department, analyses some of the legislative issues essential for all those involved in organising events in Romania. Flavius ​​will discuss the role of the authorities and their responsibilities, as well as the Romanian tax and industry legislation for event management: VAT, the obligation to obtain CIF / NIF for international artists, entertainment fees, employment contracts for auxiliary staff, etc.
