[UPDATED] ESSENTIAL Q&A – Employment relationships in the state of alert

LAST UPDATE: 9 July 2020

Following the termination of the state of emergency, the authorities have declared the state of alert and have prepared and issued a new set of measures to ensure a slow and sustainable transition towards re-commencement of normal activity, the protection of health still being a top priority. In this context, we offer answers from a legal, as well as a practical perspective to the most pressing questions raised by numerous employers following the state of emergency. These are included in our new guide Essential Q&A – Employment relationships in the state of alert. We provide the guide for download as a bilingual document (Romanian – English).

To ensure accuracy of the provided information, we will adapt the content of these answers or will add new sections, by reference to the evolution of the normative framework in matters of employment relationships.

This document does not contain one-size-fits-all solutions. Should you require a tailored application to a specific issue you face, we are happy to help, and we invite you to contact us.
