Cătălin is a co-founder and managing partner of the firm and leads its corporate transactions and TMT practices.
His work is primarily transactional, advising international and domestic clients on corporate and M&A transactions and on corporate financing, with particular expertise in corporate reorganisations, where legal, tax, and commercial reasoning have to be held in a single view.
He advises global digital and industrial technology companies, alongside high-growth and early-stage businesses, on VC and M&A transactions and on commercial and regulatory matters in Romania and across the region. His industry experience spans digital and industrial technology, financial services, manufacturing, and energy and utilities.
He built the firm's technology practice into one of Romania's top-tier technology practices, and it now anchors the firm's strategic focus on technology across every sector it serves, from pure technology companies to traditional businesses navigating digital change.
Cătălin began his career in competition law, holds a Master's degree in European competition law, and has authored publications on the subject in Romania and abroad. Over the years, he has held non-executive and supervisory board roles in listed companies and non-profit organisations.
