Her practice covers every stage of corporate transactions and tax strategy – from deal structuring and due diligence through negotiation, signing, and post-closing integration – with fiscal efficiency treated as a core deal priority at every stage. She acts for both buyers and sellers, local companies and international investors, across a wide range of sectors and transaction sizes.

Her tax work covers both transactional and operational mandates: structuring acquisitions and investments for fiscal efficiency, advising on group reorganisations, handling the tax dimensions of day-to-day commercial decisions, and supporting clients during tax audits and subsequent proceedings.

Iulia also assists companies of all sizes – from Romanian growth-stage businesses to multinational groups – with the design and implementation of employee equity compensation structures, bringing together the legal, corporate, and tax dimensions of each mandate under one advisory relationship. 

Beyond her core practice, Iulia advises on commercial matters, competition compliance – including antitrust investigations and dawn raids – public procurement procedures, and employment and benefits topics. She serves both local companies and international groups, and regularly holds targeted training sessions for in-house teams to strengthen internal capacity on regulatory and compliance topics.

Iulia is an active voice in the Romanian and Central European tax community. She is a regular speaker at Romania's leading tax forums and has participated as a panellist at international tax conferences, addressing topics such as holding structures, cross-border reorganisations, and the tax dimensions of M&A transactions. She contributes regularly to Romanian and international legal publications and guides on taxation, corporate and M&A, and employee incentives.
