Raluca was a Managing Associate in our firm’s Dispute Resolution practice. She sadly passed away in 2026 after a brave battle with a severe illness.
Raluca was one of the cornerstone members of our team, having joined the firm in September 2006. Over her nearly two decades with us, she was not only an exceptional colleague but also a dear friend. Her contribution to the firm's growth and her dedication to mentoring and supervising generations of junior and senior litigation lawyers remain invaluable and will forever be remembered.
She was an eminent dispute resolution lawyer, widely recognised by clients and peers for her sharp strategy and wealth of experience. Before dedicating her career to litigation, Raluca worked in the firm's advisory group, where she gained significant experience in complex M&A and corporate projects. As a Managing Associate, she successfully represented major local and international companies before all Romanian courts and arbitration tribunals, handling landmark disputes in taxation, public procurement, administrative, and civil law.
Raluca will be deeply missed by all of us and by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
