Application of grants regarding telework and other support instruments

New implementing rules and procedures for granting recently regulated support instruments[1][2] for employers and employees have been published in the Official Gazette.

The procedure[3] for granting financial support in the amount of 2,500 lei for each teleworker was published, the financial support being granted in order to purchase packages of technological goods and services necessary for the activity of telework. The enactment provides:

the types of technological goods and services that can be purchased;

information on the documents required to be submitted by employers, their models, as well as the means of transmission;

information on the supporting documents required to be submitted by the employer, as well as the means of transmission.

Also, models of documents necessary for parents to be able to benefit from the days off in order to supervise children have been adopted[4], in case of limitation or suspension of teaching activities that involve the actual presence of children in schools and early childhood education units, as following the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In addition, the settlement methodology and the necessary documents for employers in this regard were also published[5] in the Official Gazette.
